ARIS
Always On Race Intelligence System
Classical decision support, not a black box — ARIS shows its evidence and races a ghost driver against the field.
01 / INGEST
FastF1 historical telemetry and OpenF1 live timing, ingested lap by lap into a race state snapshot.
02 / RECOMMEND
A search-based strategy engine evaluates pit timing, compound choice, and pace targets. Not a black box — every call has a number behind it.
03 / GHOST
When ARIS's call differs from what the driver actually did, a ghost car runs the ARIS strategy on the same live grid. You watch who was right.
About ARIS
ARIS is classical decision support stitched with modern ML — not end-to-end black-box AI. Every strategy call comes from an enumerated shortlist of physics-scored actions (stay out, pit now, pit on a target lap) ranked by simulated remaining-race delta, not a learned policy making the final call. A conservative Q-learning variant was tested as opt-in research and did not clear the gate to become the default ranker — physics stays in charge. The numbers on this page are pulled straight from the evidence trail, including where the model is honestly still weak (wet strategy, absolute lap-time calibration).
